Confirmed Signing: Chelsea determined to sign 22-year-old Ligue 1 superstar

Gianluigi Donnarumma is already disgruntled at PSG over a lack of playing time coming his way, which has alerted several top teams around Europe, including Barcelona, Chelsea and Man United. Italy international signed for the Parisians this past summer on a free transfer after his deal with boyhood club Milan ran out.

While Donnarumma was widely expected to replace Keylor Navas as the first-choice shot-stopper at PSG, that has not been the case as the Argentine manager has rotated him with incumbent Keylor Navas so far this campaign.

As a result, Gianluigi has played only two games across all tournaments for the Parisians since his big move, managing to keep a solitary clean sheet. The situation that the 22-year-old goalkeeper finds himself in is said to have made the shot-stopper unhappy, especially after his exploits with the national team at the UEFA Euro 2020.

The links to the Blues, however, are a bit surprising considering that they already have two quality goalkeepers in the form of Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga.
