PSG are prepared for life without Kylian Mbappe next summer, as the Parisians’ president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, has sets his sights on Cristiano Ronaldo. Although the Parisians are trying their best to keep hold of Kylian Mbappe, it appears the French forward is destined to join Real Madrid next campaign.
Mbappe already has a deal in place with La Liga giants, with his agent adamant that an extended new contract in PSG is not a possibility anymore. In an attempt to replace the Frenchman, who has a stellar record of 147 goals and 76 assists in 195 competitive games, the Parisians have set their sights on Portugal international.
Ronaldo is believed to be keen on leaving Theatre of Dreams next summer despite only rejoining the club about four months ago. Upon his return to Man United, Cristiano has netted 13 goals in 18 competitive games this campaign.
But with Man United dawdling outside of the top four, the 36-year-old striker is not convinced of the Red Devils’ ambition and project under the newly-appointed Ralf Rangnick.
It should open up an avenue for the Parisians to do the unthinkable by recruiting the Portuguese forward in the same team as Lionel Messi, an idea that was merely considered a fantasy by football fans around the globe. Cristiano’s agent, Jorge Mendes himself, had reportedly offered the Portuguese superstar to PSG recently.
