How good was Gabriel Batistuta actually? #GOAT

  1. In China Batti is one of the biggest 10 sports icon ever who can bring massive attentions from different generations and put him as their life long idol. Other great players not even close to his influence.

  2. Well he played for Fiorentina when it was considered one of the seven sisters, then played for Roma with Totti and won the scudetto, then played for Inter….I mean not exactly crappy teams

  3. Batistuta Was the main deal wow this guy play like a fine wine he is art when he plays football. One of the greatest forward in this game and number 1 Argentianin Striker

  4. This man and Matthew Le Tissier are my all time favourite players, so fortunate to have been able to grow up watching two of the greatest artists to have ever done it.

  5. 80/90 serie A was best league with best players and best team. Now it's different but before was like that. Like Maradona with naples Platini with juventus Ronaldo with inter and Milan van Basten gullit and more

  6. Fiorentina and Roma were two of the top tier teams in Serie A when Serie A was undoubtedly the best league in Europe. And the highest paying for sure.

Just for sake of knowledge: also the Serie B in 1993/94 had players like Bierhoff, Georghe Hagi, Enrico Chiesa, Thomas Effenberg, Dunga (the captain of World Champion, Brazil) Protti and Batistuta

Just to remind how high the level was and how this video has no clues of what is talking about

  7. “I would rather have won one title with a team like Fiorentina than ten titles with a team like Manchester United,” – Batitstuta. What a legend

  8. You make very good videos, I just have a question on your pronunciation:
    is it a marketing choice?
You clearly know English very well and I am sure you know the English pronunciation for Rome, however you still use your own (this is quite annoying, use the correct one or the English one). Same thing for the "Ch" syllable, instead of saying the 'c' sound you say 'sh' and I have no idea why, the only reason I can come up with is marketing purposes, you're trying to make yourself more remembable for the viewers and just so you know there is no reason to, we do remember you thanks to the content. If it's not marketing, it's probably ignorance. Well everyone is an ignorant in something so nothing bad here – Chance is the English pronunciation and word, used I think only in English. Shance (written chance) is used in most Latin speaking countries and is a French word most of Europe started using with their pronunciation, for example Italy or Spain do the same thing you do, however when you speak English there is no reason to use it in French as a word exists (and it's the same haha)

    Nice work!

A few more suggestions, when you throw prices at us try to contextualise us into them. For example, Roma paid 80 million euros to get him – Maradona costed 20 for Napoli at the time or try to put us in perspective by saying a max cypher they would pay a player for.

  9. Forgotten??? Some that doesn’t know anything about football maybe…

He’s considered one of the best players ever in the history of Serie A, and we had the best world class players from all over the world!

  10. He was a striker maradona was a playmaker so obviously he scored more goals ffs he only stayed at fiorentina coz he didn't want to be exposed at a big club end of
