Liverpool are desperate to sign€40m-rated France international
Liverpool, Man United, and Man City have joined Real Madrid in the battle to sign Aurelien Tchouameni. The PL trio might have even leapfrogged Real Madrid in the chase, with the Monaco youngster leaning towards a move to the PL.
France international has established himself as one of the best midfielders in Ligue 1 since joining Les Monegasques from Bordeaux in winter 2020. Two years since his move to Monaco, Tchouameni has become a much sought-after footballer in the transfer market, with several high profile teams around Europe tailing him.
To date, Aurelien has turned out 86 times for Monaco, with 41 of those outings coming in the ongoing season. The 22-year-old midfielder’s progress has not gone unnoticed, with several European clubs, including Real Madrid, Liverpool, Man United and Man City, setting their sights on the footballer.
Recent reports have claimed that the French midfielder is a priority summer target for Los Blancos, with the La Liga giants keen on landing a long-term successor for Casemiro. The Frenchman, with his versatility, is a viable target for the Spanish club, with the player reportedly keen on joining Los Blancos.
Apart from the PL trio and Real Madrid, Aurelien is also a target for Juventus. But Tchouameni has no interest in moving to Italy, leaving Liverpool, Man United and Man City as the front-runners in his pursuit.
PL champions Man City are also in the battle for the Frenchman, with the midfielder emerging as a possible successor for Fernandinho.
