However, given their track record, the Merseyside club could be a more suited club for the French midfielder, with the Blues having a knack for spending big on top youngsters in Europe, only for them to fall off massively when arriving at Chelsea, such as ex-Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.
