Ligue 1 star officially announces‘i am leaving Marseille’ ahead of potential Man United move
Marseille midfielder and Man United target Boubacar Kamara has announced he will be leaving the club at the end of his contract this summer.
The season is now over for Man United fans and once again they have seen the gap between them and Man City grow even bigger after a very disappointing campaign.
The Red Devils have been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons – poor performances – players wanting t leave – managers that have not known what they are doing – and of course no Champions league football next season.
But that will hopefully all change next season now that Erik ten Hag is the new boss – and the Dutchman will want to solve a few issues this coming summer transfer window – and sign players that actually want to be at the club.
That has led to reports in the media linking United with a move for Kamara – who has just helped Marseille get back into the Champions League for next season – and who is being chase by a few Premier League clubs.
And amid all the speculation surrounding his future – The 22-year-old midfielder has now come out and confirmed that he will be leaving the French giants in the coming window, he said:
“I’ve made my decision, which is to not renew and to leave OM at the end of this season.
“I think it’s the best decision for the next part of my career.”
“I’m at a point in my career where I want to progress, to discover a new challenge, a new league. I’ve chosen my future club, you’ll find out who it is soon.”
Look, We do not know who Ten Hag wants to add to his Man United squad, But we do know that Kamara is a quality player that could add something to that midfield.
He is not world class but he is a man that would be a real bargain, so it will be interesting to see if Th Red Devils do make a move to try and get a deal done now that he has admitted he is leaving.
