  1. Bigup ESPN's coverage of AFCON. it is refreshing to see, unlike some other media outlets that only touched on it briefly. I'd like to know how many European football journalists actually travelled to Cameroon to cover AFCON. I hope it continues to grow in stature and perhaps one day we'll see many journalists, dignitaries, football coaches (did Klopp go to watch Salah and Mane in the final, or any representatives from Liverpool FC?) from other parts of the world, head to Africa to enjoy our culture and our unique love for the beautiful game. 🏆🏆

  2. Well deserved Senegal. It will not be well deserved if Egypt won… You can't win a tournament just by scoring 4 goals and depends only on your goalkeeper during a whole tournament

  3. I'm an Egyptian, congrats to Senegal, they played better than us so they deserved it, sad ofcourse, wish my country and Salah would've won but it's football, we gonna meet again in world cup qualification so we'll come back stronger watch out 🙂

  5. From watching Klopp's gegenpressing and Pep's Tiki Taka to watching dull, slow and boring football at AFCON. 😂 Why is it so hard to score a goal for these teams, and so many defensive mistakes even Senegal were poor. I expected better from them as whole team play in Europe. Glad that it's over and now I can watch some quick passing, pressing and quality football. 🔥

  6. I don't have a problem people picking Senegal as the better team today for they were. But I have a problem with people criticizing Salah. Salah played much much more minutes than any player in the tournament and any player in the Egyptian Squad. He is not Ironman. Senegal scored 8 goals in knockout stages vs Egypt 2. But they didn't play against 3 champions in the knockout stages. And when they did although they were the better team they failed to score a single goal against a team playing an extra match (90 minutes of extra time) and rested 24 hours less. Don't get me wrong, Senegal were the overall better team, but to undermine Egypt or Salah for how many goals and assists is totally unfair. Mane Man of the tournament (Fully deserved) against much lesser teams scored 3 and two assists. Mo Scored 2 and 1 Assist. If by that standard Mo was Awful then the man of the tournament is meaningless. Other wise both did good with one having a better tournament.
