Bye-bye – Deal Exit liverpool star €350,000/month terms already agreed

Xherdan Shaqiri has already agreed €350,000/month personal terms as Lyon look to sign him but Burnley and Maxwell Cornet could hold the key to his future.

According to Sky Sports, Burnley have made a £12m offer to Lyon for Maxwell Cornet and if true, it could give the French side the funds necessary to improve their bid for Xherdan Shaqiri.

Last week, it was reported that the Ligue 1 outfit had made a €6million offer for the winger but Liverpool are holding out for at least €8million.

L’Equipe claims that Lyon and Shaqiri already have an agreement on personal terms which will see him earn €350,000/month should he be allowed to move to France.

Liverpool finnaly agree contact to sign £50.4million versatile star who wants PL move

Liverpool make contact to sign £50.4million versatile star who wants PL move – Report

Liverpool have already won a trophy and are flying high in all competitions this season. Based on current form, they should be able to win multiple titles in the current campaign.

To further improve the squad in the summer, reports indicate that the Merseysiders are looking to sign a versatile star in the form of Aurelien Tchouameni.

According to a report covered by Marca, the Monaco midfielder, who will be out of contract in 2024, is linked with a move away from the club and he wants to move to the Premier League.

The renowned Spanish source have stated that Real Madrid have been trying to reach an agreement with him but it seems that the player is destined to move to England.

It is stated that the likes of Liverpool and Man Utd have made contact and asked about signing and Tchouameni could consider joining one of them.

In recent years, the Reds have been miles ahead of their arch-rivals and would surely be a more attractive option for the Les Bleus star.

Tchouameni can effectively play in the defensive and central midfield roles. He has netted 3 goals and provided 2 assists thus far for Monaco this term. The 22-year-old was an important member of the France side that won the UEFA Nations League last year.

Earlier this month, Catalan source, Sport (via The Faithful), reported that it would take a fee of 60 million euros (£50.4million) to lure the youngster from the Ligue 1 side.

Liverpool have not replaced the likes of Wijnaldum and Grujic in the midfield as yet. In your view, should they offer £50.4million to sign Aurelien Tchouameni?

Offer made – £104m star tempted to secure Liverpool move

Liverpool need to improve the quality and depth of their attack in the summer and once again, the name of Kylian Mbappe is in the lime light.

According to Le Parisien, the French international is still negotiating with Paris Saint-Germain over a new deal but he wants sporting guarantees from the Ligue 1 side, who once again failed in the Champions League.

The well known French news outlet have claimed that Mbappe has been looking to leave PSG since the summer of 2019 and he would like to see himself at Liverpool or Real Madrid, the two destinations tempt him the most because of the ‘myth they embody’.

Contract Today – Mbappe Confirm: Mbappe makes "biggest dream" declaration amid Liverpool links

Kylian Mbappe has dealt a blow to his admirers but outlining his intention to win the Champions League with Paris Saint-Germain.

Mbappe, 22, has been heavily linked with Liverpool and Real Madrid over the last year amid ongoing uncertainty over his contract situation at Le Parc des Princes.

The Frenchman has less than 12 months remaining on his current deal and PSG chiefs have made little progress in extension talks despite months of negotiations.

But Mbappe’s latest interview suggests he still sees his future with the Ligue 1 giants – at least for another season – as he is targeting more silverware with his hometown club.

The World Cup winner declared his «biggest dream» is to lift the Champions League with PSG while speaking to Neymar for the club’s official magazine, per Marca .

During his exchange with the Brazilian, Mbappe said: «I’m not very good as a journalist. What would I ask Neymar? What is your big dream for you after everything you’ve achieved?»

Signing Report: Liverpool reach agreement signing eight-goal Ligue 1 striker on a free transfer

Report: Liverpool really considered signing eight-goal Ligue 1 striker on a free transfer

Liverpool strongly considered a free transfer for Randal Kolo Muani, according to reports. The Reds watched the player move elsewhere, however.

This comes from Frankfurter Rundschau. They claim that Liverpool were one of a host of clubs who strongly considered Randal Kolo Muani.

The 23-year-old striker is currently at Nantes, having delivered eight goals and two assists already this season. His contract is also expiring in the summer – driving serious competition for his signature.

Liverpool were supposedly one club who thought about a deal. AC Milan, Tottenham Hotspur and Borussia Dortmund were three more but in the end, he’s moving to Eintracht Frankfurt.

It’s worth adding that Bild said similar a few weeks ago, before Muani accepted Frankfurt’s pre-contract. Liverpool can chalk this one off for now.

We wrote back when Bild initially reported the interest that this would make sense. Muani is a young player who’s delivering in a top European league and who ticks several boxes Liverpool like.

Statsbomb data on FBref shows a player who can press well, carry the ball confidently and score goals. In a lot of ways, that’s the exact striker Liverpool want.

And to get such a player for free? Perfection, especially with doubts over Divock Origi’s future as a squad player at Liverpool.

But that doesn’t mean it was the ideal move for Muani. Taking Origi’s squad role actually means very limited chances, with the role mainly being as a last-resort impact player. That’s probably not the dream for a 23-year-old with a growing reputation.

Muani will be one for Liverpool to watch, though. He’s off to Frankfurt in the summer but consistent performances there will put him right back on the Reds’ radar – just not for free this time.

Aurelian Tchouameni breaks silence on Liverpool and Man Utd transfer interest

Liverpool and Manchester United transfer target Aurelian Tchouameni has revealed he is open to the idea of remaining in AS Monaco for another season and playing in the Champions League with the French outfit.

Tchouameni is wanted by a number of European football’s biggest clubs but the interest from the two Premier League titans appears to be the most concrete. Fellow English side Arsenal are also rumoured to have thrown their hat in the ring for the midfielder.

However, if the 22-year-old’s recent comments are anything to go by all three of them could be forced to shift their interest elsewhere as Tchouameni seems to be content with the idea of remaining in Ligue 1 for at least one more campaign.

Speaking to the media this week, the France international claimed: «I am contracted here until 2024 with the option until 2025. We’ll see what the future has in store for me. The transfer window is always a period where lots of things can happen. There is my personal case, but there are cases for lots of other players who are out of contract or who perhaps have desires elsewhere.»

Unlike in the Premier League where the top four teams qualify for the Champions League, the French top-flight only enters three sides into European club football’s most elite competition due to UEFA’s coefficient.

In turn, Monaco – who sit fourth on goal different, are currently just outside of the Champions League qualification places but could still leapfrog Rennes with just three games to go. If they do, Tchouameni has claimed that the heartache of last season’s failure could inspire him to stay at the Stade Louis II.

Asked if he would stay if Champions League football is on offer at Monaco, the young star said: «Yeah, why not? The elimination last year stuck in my throat. Playing Champions League football with Monaco isn’t something that would displease me.»

That places added pressure on the French outfit to go above Rennes into third before the season’s end, as it could prove an incredibly difficult task trying to persuade Tchouameni to stay when a number of Europe’s elite are trying to sign the midfielder.

Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are also monitoring the situation as both sides hope to hijack any switch that would see Tchouameni end up plying his trade in the Premier League. Any club hoping to pray him away from the French Riviera in the summer is expected to have to pay at least £60million.

DONE: Midfielder star Ligue 1 comments on joining to Liverpool – ‘already will moves’ with Liverpool

Aurelien Tchouameni comments on future – ‘already negotiating’ with Liverpool

Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni has addressed speculation over his future, with the Liverpool target not dismissing the chances of a summer move.

Tchouameni has been widely touted as a summer target for Liverpool, who are seeking a midfield addition ahead of the likely exit of at least one senior player.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could be set to depart, though it now seems more likely that both James Milner and Naby Keita will be offered extensions on deals that currently expire in 2022 and 2023 respectively.

Bolstering Jurgen Klopp‘s ranks with a player of Tchouameni’s quality and potential – having already played 128 times for Bordeaux and Monaco, along with eight caps for France – would be a positive step for Liverpool.

French outlet RMC Sport claim that the 22-year-old’s representatives have already held talks with clubs across Europe, with Liverpool, Chelsea and Real Madrid front-runners.

A move to Paris Saint-Germain, who are also interested, has effectively been ruled out, with Tchouameni said to prefer to join a club outside of France.

RMC Sport definitively state: “Tchouameni will no longer be [at Monaco] next season.”

Tchouameni himself took part in a press conference on Wednesday ahead of Monaco’s Ligue 1 clash with Lille on Friday night, with the principality club looking for a late push to finish in the top three.

“I think I’m on contract until 2024, with an option until 2025. We’ll see what the future holds for me,” he told reporters when asked about his transfer prospects.

“A lot can happen during the transfer window.

“The most important thing is the Lille match, not what will happen after.

“After, when everyone goes on vacation, we’ll see who will be there when it resumes.”

First and second in Ligue 1 automatically qualify for the Champions League, while third enters the third qualifying round and fourth is reserved for the Europa League.

Monaco are currently fourth, level on points with third-placed Rennes and three behind Marseille in second, with only three games to play as they hope to avoid a repeat of this season’s Champions League playoff knockout at the hands of Shakhtar.

“This elimination stuck in my throat,” Tchouameni continued. “Playing the Champions League with Monaco is not something I would dislike.”

At least outwardly, then, the midfielder has not ruled out an extended stay at Monaco.

But persistent claims from the media suggest his agent is making a concerted bid for the exit, and possibly towards Anfield.

OFFICIAL: Liverpool finnaly agree move to sign wonderkid world class Ligue 1 star

Report: Liverpool could now move to sign 18-year-old wonderkid who spent five years at Everton

Liverpool are monitoring the situation of Angers youngster Mohamed-Ali Cho ahead of a possible move.

That’s according to RMC Sport. They claim that The Reds have been ‘keeping an eye’ on the 18-year-old winger.

Liverpool are said to be one of a host of clubs who hold an interest in Cho. In fact, no less than nine different teams are credited with various levels of interest too.

The most significant interest is claimed to come from Leicester City and Eintracht Frankfurt. Both teams were reportedly ‘active’ in trying to get a deal done during the January transfer window.

According to RMC, Angers are looking for a fee that would make Cho their record sale. In that case, the deal would have to surpass £20m. However, the fact that the player’s contract runs out in June 2023 could complicate this for the French side.

Cho has had an intriguing career in football so far. Having spent his childhood moving between England and France, he joined Everton’s academy from PSG as an 11-year-old.

After progressing through the youth ranks at Finch Farm, the youngster became frustrated at the lack of a pathway to the first team.

Although Everton didn’t want him to go, Cho left for nothing to join Angers in January 2020.

Despite his age, he has been a feature of the Ligue 1 side’s first-team since then. After starting just one of his 21 league appearances last season, he has gone on to begin 17 of 26 games this term.

Having only turned eighteen in January, Cho already has a half-century of games under his belt in men’s football.

The youngster’s attacking statistics aren’t anything to shout about. The France under-21 international has just two goals in those 50 appearances for Angers.

However, he is clearly someone who provides excitement. He is a fast, direct and skilful winger who likes to play from the right cutting in onto his favoured left foot.

With a contract set to expire in the near future, Cho will surely be on the move soon.

Liverpool have been bolstering their youth ranks in recent times. Should they choose to pursue the ex-Everton wonderkid though, he’d surely be as a first-team option.

Liverpool succes already have forward star'replacement'secured thanks to perfect transfer deal

Liverpool may already have Roberto Firmino’replacement’secured thanks to perfect transfer deal

Tottenham Hotspur and Daniel Levy making a move to sign Colombian forward Luis Díaz from FC Porto in January 2022 could go down as one of the most important moments in Liverpool’s history.

Michael Edwards and Julian Ward stepped in, Liverpool agreed to match the initial £37m fee that Porto wanted for the 25-year-old, and Díaz moved to Liverpool, not London.

Since then, Díaz has been a vital part of the Liverpool squad, integrating himself immediately and looking the perfect fit by all accounts from the inside and out.

With Roberto Firmino having injury troubles all season, and Diogo Jota struggling for form relative to his performances in the earlier part of the campaign, Liverpool have needed that extra option in attack to sustain their quadruple push.

After all, could Takumi Minamino or Divock Origi really have changed the tide of the Champions League semi-final as Díaz did against Villarreal? And would either of them have troubled Manchester City as Díaz has? It seems unlikely.

If Liverpool do win the quadruple this season, then Díaz’s arrival will go down as a pivotal moment, but even if they fall slightly short of those incredible standards, he still appears set to be a transformational signing in the long term.

One the most intriguing aspects to the future Liverpool forward line plan over the course of the next few seasons is what happens when Firmino moves on.

His contract expires in 2023 and by that time he will be nearly 32. Already this season, the Brazilian has had four separate injuries and is currently out with the latest one.

The question of where Liverpool go next after Firmino, given his uniqueness, is not clear-cut, but that decision will have to be made at some point.

Given that Firmino was not a Klopp signing but one of the players who was at the club when the German arrived, there is no cast iron tie-in with a false nine that means another must be found, though the imminently-arriving Fábio Carvalho could potentially be moulded into the role and Sadio Mané has been doing well there of late.

But another option could link back to the Colombian forward that is already looking every inch a perfect Klopp player.

Luis Díaz has appeared on the right and in the centre so far for Liverpool in the short space of time that he has been at the club, but it is clear that his long term role will be on the left.

But that, though, is not to say that he cannot bring to the table some of the skills that Liverpool lack minus Firmino — the first half against Villarreal on Tuesday night being a case in point.

While Liverpool were penned back and unable to get themselves out, Jota struggled to link play and the ball just kept coming back.

As soon as Díaz entered the field, however, possession began to stick. Part of this was down to the individual improvement in the Liverpool team across the board, but part of it was also the ability to carry the ball via dribbling that Díaz has — unique among his Reds teammates.

Díaz relieved the pressure by simply keeping hold of the ball under the watchful eye of several defenders, allowing his teammates to reset, get back into position or support him.

Clearly, this is not exactly how Firmino has helped Liverpool link things up in the past, and it was coming from a different part of the Reds attack.

But if Liverpool move away from Firmino — and at some point, perhaps sooner rather than later, that will happen — then they need to have a tweak to that plan in place.

Díaz will form at least a part of the post-Firmino era as a crucial future member of their front three. But he could also have a significant chunk of the solution to one of the biggest traits Liverpool will lack without the Brazilian.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCED: Liverpool completed deal French Superstar ‘beat four another club giant scouts’

Liverpool target Aurelien Tchouameni ‘watched by Man Utd, Chelsea and Real Madrid scouts’

Liverpool target Aurelien Tchouameni was watched by a number of scouts from the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid as he scored a brace for Monaco against Lille on Friday evening, according to reports. The 22-year-old has been linked with a summer move to Anfield over the last few months, with the Reds having reportedly informed Monaco of their interest in landing the midfielder ahead of next season.

Tchouameni has established himself as a regular at international level with France over the last few months and is thought to have no shortage of admirers from across Europe in advance of the upcoming transfer window. It seems as though Liverpool could be forced to join a bidding war in order to secure his services after a host of elite clubs were represented at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Friday, according to 90min.

It is claimed that a number of scouts from Liverpool, United, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich were in the stands to run the rule over Tchouameni’s impressive showing for Monaco against Lille. The likes of Arsenal, Tottenham and Barcelona also sent representatives to France in order to cast their eyes over the midfielder, who scored both of his side’s goals in a 2-1 victory over last season’s Ligue 1 champions.

Tchouameni opened the scoring with a thunderous effort from outside the box on 42 minutes before former United man Angel Gomes fired home an equaliser for Lille shortly after the hour mark. The hosts dominated proceedings for the vast majority of the contest but were ultimately forced to leave empty-handed when Tchouameni struck again with just 15 minutes of normal time remaining.

Meanwhile, it remains to be seen whether Liverpool will be able to beat the competition for Tchouameni’s signature when the bidding opens at the end of the season. The Reds have already reached out to Monaco with a view to striking a deal for the Frenchman but will reportedly need to pay around £50million to stand any chance of snapping him up over the coming months.

Real Madrid have also been credited with a long-standing interest in Tchouameni and are said to be weighing up another raid on Ligue 1 in the near future after landing Eduardo Camavinga from Rennes last summer. Tchouameni has already hinted that he may be looking to stay at Monaco for at least another year, though, in order to play in the Champions League with his current employers next season.

«I have a contract until 2024 with an option until 2025,» he said earlier this week. «We will see what the future holds for me. A lot of things can happen in the transfer window.

«There is my case and that of the other players, some of whom are at the end of their contracts and have other desires elsewhere. The most important thing is the Lille match, not what will happen after.

«Later, when everyone goes on holiday, we will see who will be here when everything resumes. Why not stay in the Champions League?

«Being eliminated by Shakhtar Donetsk in the preliminary round this season stuck in my throat. Playing in the Champions League with Monaco is not something that would displease me.»
